Introduction to The Bible Studies
Course Description: "The Bible is the most valuable thing that this world affords. Here is Wisdom, this is the royal Law, these are lively Oracles of God." In this 9-session course, students will be introduced to The Bible, exploring major stories from both the Old and New Testaments and the history of Christian doctrines. The course aims to delve into students' questions and illuminate what The Bible has to say about them.
Course Objectives: By the end of the course, students are expected to:
Learn the key themes, characters, and narratives of The Bible.
Understand The Bible's teachings on humanity, God, and the world.
Reflect on themes of grace, forgiveness, and freedom.
Meeting Schedule: Every Wednesday, June 26 - August 28 · 5:00 – 6:00 pm PST (except July 3rd holiday)
